November 28 @ 12:30 pm - 1:30 pm
Next stop: renewable transit. TransLink, Metro Vancouver’s transit authority, has adopted a 100% renewable energy by 2050 strategy for its fleet. Nearby, King County Metro Transit, which serves the Seattle region, plans to operate an entirely electric public transit fleet by 2040.
Join us for a conversation with representatives from two leading transit authorities embarking on a renewable future. We will discuss plans and lessons learned for navigating electrification, renewable fuels and financing renewable public transportation.
